We selected our manufacturing partner because of their superior technology, high-quality control, and best-in-class facilities. They are also certified with ISO standards and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Are your diapers recyclable or compostable?
Our diapers are not recyclable at the moment and should be disposed of in a trash or diaper bin. Recycling diapers is difficult due to two current barriers: collecting and sorting the used diapers from the waste stream, and sanitizing the diapers. With that being said, we believe in a future of sustainable diapering and proudly invest in product development and resources to work towards that goal. You can learn more at coterie.com/sustainability. I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any other questions.
What are your diaper ingredients?
The diaper’s absorbent core is made of sodium polyacrylate (SAP) and Totally Chlorine Free (TCF) wood pulp from sustainably managed forests. The nonwoven backsheet is made of polypropylene and polyester, and the topsheet is made of polypropylene. Our high loft nonwoven acquisition layer is made from polyester and the hook tab fastening system is made of polypropylene / polyethylene, film and adhesive. All our diapers also feature a wetness indicator.
Where are your diaper materials sourced from?
Like you, our standards are high! We source only the best materials and we’ve found them in the United States, Israel, Finland, and Japan.
How do Coterie diapers compare in price to other diaper brands?
Coterie pricing is comparable to Pampers Pure, Bambo Nature, Eco by Naty, Huggies Special Delivery, and Honest Co. The difference is that Coterie provides a truly superior experience: we out-perform every other diaper on the market in absorbency, wicking, and safety — the things that matter most to you and your baby. Coterie diapers are also so absorbent that you can use them overnight, eliminating the need for separate nighttime diapers.

Why is your Pant unique?
The Pant is one uncomplicated, day-and-night product to grow with your baby from just crawling all the way through potty training.
It’s ergonomically engineered with 2.5x more stretch than other leading training pants to enable more comfortable movement at developmentally important stages without sacrificing softness or absorbency.
Designed for day and overnight use, it’s light and flexible like a more ‘grown up’ pant during the day, but offers security against leaks and blowouts throughout the night (with 2x the retentive capacity of other leading training pants).
The Pant gives you versatile changing options: pull it up and down like underwear (this also helps build awareness for potty training), or change it lying down like a traditional diaper with the size-adjustable, resealable waistband.
- For vertical changes: pull up and down like underwear
- For horizontal changes: open and close the resealable waist like a traditional diaperFrom performance, flexibility, style, and safety we’ve taken everything into consideration—you can also read our full Pants Safety Report for more information.
When is the best time to introduce my baby to the Pant?
All babies are built differently, and go through progressions and regressions at their own pace—you know your baby best, but we’d be happy to provide you with some guidelines.
- If your baby sizes out of the diaper, or if they’re showing signs that they’re ready to learn to pull it up and down, it’s time to move to the Pant.
- If your baby wears a diaper size 3+ and is especially active (crawling and/or wiggling on the changing table), we also recommend trying The Pant. The Pant has 2x the retentive capacity of other leading training pants, so it’s suitable for babies around 6 months of age who still need more absorbency than traditional training pants offer.
- If you’re preparing for potty training, or want to ease in with a baby-led approach to potty training, The Pant can be a helpful tool to acclimate your baby to the more ‘underwear-like’ feel, as well as the action of pulling The Pant up and down.
How many Pants come in a case?
A case of our size 03 Pant contains 156 pants (across 3 packs, with 52 pants per pack).
A case of our size 04 Pant contains 138 pants (across 3 packs, with 46 pants per pack).
A case of our size 05 Pant contains 112 pants (across 4 packs, with 28 pants per pack).
A case of our size 06 Pant contains 92 pants (across 4 packs, with 23 pants per pack).
To share a little more context on our pant pack quantity, we determined our pack quantities based on expected usage for older babies as well as our manufacturing and shipping capabilities. We recognize this may require a different ordering frequency for each baby depending on individual needs—don’t worry, it’s easy to adjust your Auto-Renew frequency in your account or through our Text Assistant (text 951-467-4913 to opt in to manage your orders via text).Rest assured that this pack quantity and pricing reflects the same high standards and quality you’ve come to love from your diapers.
Do you offer Pant samples?
We offer trial pack orders of 8 pants (across two packs of 4) for $16.50 including shipping. You can purchase trial packs here. You can choose two different sizes to find your baby’s ideal fit (we recommend checking out our Sizing 101 page), or simply get all the same size. Available sizes: 03 / 12M-24M, 04 / 2T-3T, 05 / 3T-4T, 06 / 4T-5T
How long does a case of Coterie Pant’s typically last?
Each case of pants typically lasts about a month, and this can vary depending on whether you're using The Pant as a complement to The Diaper, your child's age, and their activity level. If you ever find yourself with too many leftover pants when your next order arrives, or you're running out quicker than expected, email [email protected] or text 951-467-4913 to adjust your pant delivery frequency.
Pants should be stored in a cool, dry space—whether that’s a drawer, closet, etc. Each case comes with three or four packs depending on size, and the packs themselves can be stored. It’s also ok to open the packs and store the pants individually, depending on what works for your space. Pants will last for several years if stored in proper conditions, but you’ll likely use them quickly enough that it’s rare they’ll sit for years.
Where are your Pants manufactured?
Our pants are made in Japan by a highly experienced and vetted manufacturing partner who is the pioneer of this new diapering technology and design.
Can I recycle Coterie Pants?
Our pants are currently not recyclable and should be disposed of in a trash or diaper bin. Recycling diapering products is difficult due to two current barriers: collecting and sorting the used product from the waste stream, and sanitizing them. That said, we do believe in a future where fully sustainable disposable diapering is possible. It's why we proudly invest in product development and resources to work towards that goal. In the meantime, we package responsibly and use sustainable ingredients where possible (without sacrificing performance or safety) —you can learn more at coterie.com/sustainability.

Where are your wipes manufactured?
Our wipes are designed in the US, and made in China.
Are your wipes biodegradable?
Yes, they are 100% biodegradable.
While most baby wipes are made with some form of plastic, ours are plastic-free, and made of 100% compostable, plant-based fibers—including VEOCEL™ Lyocell, the most future-forward cellulosic fabric, derived from renewable wood sources and refined in a closed loop system. Are your wipes organic?
Coterie wipes are not certified organic, but are hypoallergenic, safe for eczema-prone and newborn skin, and use the most gentle skincare ingredients—like purified water, vitamin E, and glycerin. All ingredients rated “green” or “safest to use” by EWG. They also received the National Eczema Association’s Seal of Acceptance™, and have been clinically tested for safety by an independent lab—you can see the full safety report here.
Are the wipes flushable?
Our wipes are not flushable. When you are finished using them, please dispose of them in the trash.
Can I use the wipes on other parts of my baby, like their face and hands?
Yes! Coterie wipes are safe for use on all areas of your baby. We have also found our customers love them for other uses as well, such as removing makeup, cleaning up in the car or after a workout. The wipe provides the perfect mix of cleansing and gentleness on skin.
Can I put them in a wipe dispenser/warmer?
We do not recommend putting Coterie wipes in a wipe warmer or wipe dispenser. In general, hot and humid conditions can cause wipes to dry out and can promote microbial growth. Coterie wipes are a fresh product and should be stored in a cool, dry place. Additionally, we do not recommend removing the Coterie wipes from their pack, or transferring them to any other containers.
Do Coterie wipes expire?
Yes, Coterie wipes, like all wipes, do expire with time. If stored in a cool, dry place, they last up to a year once opened, and longer if still sealed. We always recommend consulting the expiration date on the individual wipe packaging.
Are the wipes good for sensitive skin?
Coterie wipes are sensitive skin safe. They are dermatologist-tested, proven hypoallergenic, free of alcohol, fragrance, dyes, parabens, phthalates, and hundreds of other potentially harmful chemicals. They have received the National Eczema Association’s Seal of Acceptance™ which recognizes products that are suitable for care of eczema or sensitive skin.
What are your wipe ingredients?
Our wipe is made with 100% plant-based and biodegradable fibers. The main ingredient is 99% purified water; the other 1% is made up of 8 gentle ingredients, including vitamin E, glycerin, and food-grade preservatives. All ingredients in our wipe are EWG Verified™ (which means they meet the EWG's strictest criteria for transparency and health). Here’s a more detailed list:
Water: Cleanser
Tocopheryl acetate: Skin conditioning form of Vitamin E
Decyl glucoside: Plant-derived, mild surfactant
Glycerin: Natural skin protectant and moisturizer
Sodium benzoate: Food grade, gentle preservative
Hydroxyacetophenone: Skin conditioning and soothing agent
Citric acid: pH balance adjuster
Silicone Quaternium-17 Laureth-9: Gentle skin conditioner
You can learn more about the ingredients in our wipes in our Safety Report.
What are the dimensions of Coterie wipes?
The new Coterie wipes are 8 IN X 7.5 IN - up to 30% larger than most wipes, so you can do more with less.
How are the new wipes different from the original wipes?
As they always have, our wipes maintain a clean, gentle ingredient list, while incorporating some minor improvements to make them feel even softer. We have optimized our blend of 100% Veocel plant-based fibers to further enhance the cleansing power and softness, while maintaining 99% purified water as our primary ingredient. In the remaining 1%, we’ve added three additional skin-loving ingredients in small amounts to our formulation to improve skin feel and provide a more stable wipes shelf life.
Do you have wipe samples?
At this time we, unfortunately, do not offer wipe samples for purchase alone.
Do you have wipe travel packs?
We do! Wipe Travel Packs come in a case of 8 packs, with 18 wipes each - perfect for using them on the go. You can make a one-time purchase or add to your Auto-Renew here.
Is your wipes packaging biodegradable too?
While our boxes are made of recyclable cardboard and our wipes are made with 100% plant-based and biodegradable fibers, we haven’t found effective recyclable packaging alternatives that can maintain the integrity of the wipes and protect them from contamination. Our team is continuously looking for more sustainable solutions for all of our products and we hope to offer this in the future.

Since we’re unable to accept returns at this time, please donate or gift your unopened packs.

How do I choose the best size for my baby?
We like to think that Coterie diapers and pants run true-to-size, but in some cases they run small—if your baby is in between sizes on our size guide, we recommend sizing up for a better fit.
Size guides are a great place to start, but we know that all babies are built differently, so when it comes to choosing the perfect size, we like to consider weight, waist circumference, body type (height and build), and age.
We want to ensure you have the best experience and comfortable fit, so you can always email us at [email protected] with your baby’s measurements and we’ll help you choose the perfect size.
How should The Diaper fit my baby?
The Diaper runs mostly true to size according to our size chart by weight, but we realize every baby is different! The Diaper should always fit high and snug around their waist (at or just below their belly button), with just enough room to slide one finger into the waistband. There shouldn’t be any gaps in the legs or waist, and the diaper tabs shouldn’t overlap. If you’ve used Huggies, Kirkland, or Rascal+Friends, you may want to size up in Coterie, otherwise we'd recommend trying the same size.
You can also read more about sizing and fit on our Sizing 101 page. If you’re still unsure, reach out to [email protected] with your baby’s weight, waist circumference, body type (height and build), and age—we’d love to help find the perfect fit.
How should The Pant fit my baby?
We like to think that Coterie pants run true-to-size according to our size chart by weight. If you’re using the Coterie diaper, we recommend ordering the same size in the Pant (unless the current fit is at or above the belly button). The Pant runs a bit longer, so if The Diaper you’re currently using is fitting where the tabs are almost overlapping or above the belly button, you may want to size down in The Pant.
If you’ve used Pull-Ups, Easy Ups, or other brand name training pants, they may fit slightly larger. If you find the fit with those brands is usually a bit loose, you may want to size down when ordering our pants.
You can also read more about sizing and fit on our Sizing 101 page. If you're still unsure, reach out to [email protected] with your baby's weight, waist circumference, body type (height and build), and age—we'd love to help find the perfect fit.
How should I decide between The Diaper and The Pant?
The Diaper is ideal for newborns and babies who aren’t crawling yet. It’s highly effective at quickly wicking away liquid to minimize moisture-related diaper rash, which is especially important for younger babies with delicate skin. Our sizing can accommodate babies up to 40 lbs.
The Pant is designed for active babies, allowing for more flexible movement and a gentler transition into potty training. It can grow with you all from just crawling through potty training. Our pant sizing starts for babies around 14 lbs, and the largest can fit young children up to 62 lbs.
There is no definitive age or weight when you have to switch from The Diaper to The Pant, it’s really dependent on what you and your baby are most comfortable with. You can also refer to our sizing 101 page for more details on choosing the right product for your baby’s size and stage of development.
How can I tell when it's time to size up?
We’re glad you asked! Getting the correct size and fitting it properly is very important for performance. We have a sizing guide with useful tips on finding the ideal fit. Generally, if you start to experience leaks and blowouts, that’s a sign that you might be ready for the next size up.
Do Coterie diapers run small or large?
We like to think that Coterie diapers and pants run true-to-size, but in some cases they run small. If you’ve used Huggies in the past, you’ll want to size up in Coterie. We otherwise recommend ordering your baby’s current diaper or pant size as well as consulting our size chart. If you need help, or have any questions not answered here, email us at [email protected].
Is Auto-Renew the same as a subscription?
Auto-Renew is the same as a subscription, but with more personalization and flexibility. Our Auto-Renew program is designed to ensure that you never run out of diapers, and to save you time in the process. We will always reach out (via email or text, depending on your preferences) 2 days before we send an order and you’ll have the option to edit diaper size, shipping address, billing information, frequency (automatically set to 28 days), or simply delay or skip that shipment. You can cancel at any time via email at [email protected] or text at 951-467-4913. See here for more info on Coterie Concierge.

Your card will be charged on the day that your order ships. Depending on the frequency you choose, this could be every 3 weeks, 4 weeks, or 5 weeks. You can adjust your frequency in your Account, in the Calendar. We’ll always send you two upcoming order notifications to confirm and/or edit your next shipment before your Auto-Renew ships!
How do I cancel Auto-Renew?

You can make changes to your Auto-Renew in your Coterie account, or by sending us a text at 951-467-4913. See here for more info on Coterie Concierge.
Can I divide my Auto-Renew into two sizes?
We’re only able to ship one diaper size per Auto-Renew shipment at this time, but we hope to be able to offer more choice in the future. If your baby is in-between sizes, and you’re not sure what size to order, send us an email at [email protected] or text us at 951-467-4913 and we’ll happily help!
Can I subscribe to 3-packs?
We’re only offering 6-packs at this time, but we hope to be able to offer more choice in the future. If you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for on our website, send us an email at [email protected]com and we’ll see what we can do to help.
Can I have two different subscriptions for two kids who are in diapers?
Of course! You can create and manage an Auto-Renew for each child in your Coterie account, or by sending us a text at 951-467-4913. See here for more info on Coterie Concierge.
What happens if I go on vacation?

You can sign up for text order management via our website in your Coterie account, or just send us a text at 951-467-4913 and we’ll help you sign up! You can ask us any and all baby-related questions and — our personal favorite — you can send us pics of your baby in Coterie! Some key Coterie text message commands to remember are: SIZE, SHIP NOW, DELAY, EDIT, and SUBSCRIBE. See here for a full list of commands.
Do you offer a trial pack?
You can purchase Trial Packs for The Diaper here and for The Pant here. Each Diaper Trial Pack order includes 10 diapers total (across two packs of 5), and each Pant Trial Pack order includes 8 pants total (across two packs of 4)— you can choose two different sizes to find your baby’s ideal fit, or simply get all the same size.
Why don’t you offer a free trial?
We have Trial Packs available for purchase both for The Diaper and The Pant, but unfortunately, we’re not able to offer our Trial Packs for free while we continue to grow.
How long will it take to receive my trial pack?
Most trial packs will arrive within 7 business days, but some may take up to 14 business days to arrive. They ship at a slower speed than our full shipments due to size!
Our Auto-Renew and one-time 6-pack shipments, as well as wipes, ship more quickly and take 3-7 business days to arrive to most locations.
Why don’t you ship trial packs to Alaska and Hawaii?
We’re not able to ship Trial Packs to Alaska and Hawaii, because it is too expensive to ship them there. We hope to be able to offer Trial Packs to customers in Alaska and Hawaii soon!

Why don’t you offer more discounts?
We’re a small company with the goal of providing parents and babies with the best product made with the highest quality materials. Feel free to block out any additional info on those forms you don't wish to share.

We’ll also send you a reminder over email 5 days and then again over email and SMS if you've opted in 2 days before your Auto-Renew shipment leaves our warehouse, giving you the option to edit your shipment.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. We offer PayPal for one-time purchases only, and we're unable to accept debit cards and PayPal for Auto-Renew orders at this time. We currently do not offer financing options through Afterpay or Klarna.
How soon will I be charged?
You will be charged as soon as you place your order and it is processed.
Do you have a referral program?
We do, and we’d love you to be a part of it. To get started, head to our referral page. From here, enter your email to generate your unique referral link. You can share your link with your friends via email, Facebook, or text, giving them $10 off their first purchase. Once your friend places their order, you will receive an email with a code for $10 off your next purchase. Please note, you will only get credit for referring first-time customers.
