Two clinical tests were conducted to determine the safety of the Flush Wipe. A 100+ subject clinical HRIPT test was conducted between November 2024 and January 2025 under dermatologist supervision. At least 50% of study participants had self-assessed sensitive skin and the test did not induce sensitization. A Safety-In-Use test was conducted between December 2024 and January 2025 under pediatric supervision among children ages 3 to 8 years old to confirm safety in real life usage conditions for a period of over 4 weeks. The Flush Wipe demonstrated very good pediatric use acceptability, as none of the children presented any adverse reactions. The Flush Wipe has also received The National Eczema Association’s Seal of Acceptance™ and is EWG Verified™.

First Wash
First Wash Reports
Hypoallergenicity Testing - HRIPT Report
A clinical HRIPT test was conducted between March 17, 2025 and April 24, 2025, under the supervision of a dermatologist. This study aims to show the absence of Primary Irritability, Accumulated Dermal Irritability, and Dermal Sensitization potentials of a product for topical use. There were no reports or evidence of adverse reaction during the study (irritation index: 0.00), proving First Wash’s safety for topical use, and supporting the claims dermatologically tested, suitable for all skin types and sensitive skin.
in vivo Microbiome Product Testing Report
The skin microbiome is a unique ecosystem of microorganisms that plays a critical role in maintaining skin health. Understanding and maintaining a balanced skin microbiome is essential for addressing skin concerns effectively. In vivo testing—conducted directly on the living skin—captures real-world dynamics (microbiome, environmental stressors, sweat, and sebum interactions), offering a more accurate assessment of how products affect the skin microbiome’s natural balance over time.
This clinical study evaluated the effect of First Wash on the skin microbiome. By using First Wash, individuals positively promote the maintenance of a healthy skin microbiome ecosystem, maintaining a natural bacterial diversity, and balanced microbiome. Additionally, there was found to be no significant increase in pathogenic bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus or Prevotella melaninogenica typically associated with atopic dermatitis.
Ocular Irritability Ophthalmological Clinical Study
A controlled, randomized ophthalmological clinical study to evaluate ocular irritability via instillation procedure was conducted between March 17, 2025 and March 20, 2025. The aim of this study is to investigate the safety of First Wash with regard to the potential for eye irritation and absence of tears. First Wash presented an ocular irritability index <2.0 for all evaluated requirements.
Product pH
pH is used to express acidity and alkalinity on a scale of 0 (most acidic)-14 (most alkaline). Normal values of pH in healthy skin are slightly acidic, around 5.5, due to the presence of the acid mantle. First Wash is formulated to target a product pH that mimics the range of baby’s skin pH, balanced by the use of citric acid.
Formulated for sensitive skin, from birth on.
- No fragrance or essential oils
- No sulfates (SLS or SLES)
- National Eczema Association accepted
- Vegan and cruelty free
